Who we are

Bathurst Family Physicians is a community-based family medicine clinic and member of the North York Family Health Team in Toronto, Ontario.

Your Personal Health Information (PHI)

We collect, use, and disclose PHI to provide you with health care and as permitted or required by Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004 (PHIPA). You have the right to access and request correction of your record.

How we protect your privacy

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including role-based EMR access, encryption, secure messaging, staff training, and incident response procedures.

AI Medical Scribe (Mutuo Autoscribe)

With your permission, your clinician may use a secure AI medical scribe to record audio of your visit and create a transcript and draft summary. Your clinician reviews and corrects the draft before saving it to your chart. The vendor, approved under Ontario’s Vendor of Record program, may use transcripts to improve the service in accordance with Ontario privacy requirements. You may decline or ask us to pause the scribe at any time without affecting your care.

Virtual care and electronic communications

We use approved platforms and take steps to ensure secure communication. Please avoid email for sensitive information unless advised.
